Building translocation in Romania is gaining wide acceptance as an attractive method in preserving valuable constructions in the process of the urban systematization. More than 25 structures, representing church, banks, residential block of flats, where relocated among 1982 - 1988 in Romania in order to:

q       solve the urban systematization problems;

q       to upgrade the seismic safety with minimal disturbance to architecturally significant features.
